Which one? 2013 or 2014 SS 1LE?

Hey guys. Wanted some advice on which year to get. This will be my first camaro. Looking at the 2013 or 2014 SS 1LE. Waiting impatiently for the 14 to come out so I can see the rear end in person. Was originally looking at the ZL1 or the Z28 but to justify it to myself I would want to sell my Hayabusa and that's not gonna happen. Anyways, any help is appreciated. Also any help with aftermarket manufacturers and who to stay away from would be helpful. Have a lot of other questions but ill post them in another section. Thank you in advance for any help.

Between the 13 and 14 is only body cosmetics. If you like the look of the 14 I would wait.As for me I was waiting to see the refresh and didn't like it and purchased a 13 yesterday.

I'd just get the '13. Unless you're getting a Z28 there isn't a big reason to wait for the '14s.

There's also the Recaro seats and the color HUD. Both of those would make waiting worth it for me. The seats might make for a good retrofit candidate though.

Yeah the seats are one of the reasons I would want the 14. Either way I think I would be happy. Appreciate the help guys. Hopefully by June or July I should be able to get rid of my damn sonata. It has a turbo but its definitely not a V8.

If your going to order a 13 I believe the orders have to been in before April 25. Orders for 14's wont even be going in until November.

Totally up to you. I don't think GM has shown a 2014 1LE yet, so I guess everybody's assuming that it will be just like the 2013 with the 2014 nose and tail. Personally I would wait on the 2014. I'd want those new seats and I like the new nose. There's been a lot of negative comments on the boards about those new tail lights, but personally, I don't mind them. It's not that I think that they are a thing of beauty, but I don't think that the ones we have now are either, and I think the new RS ones are going to look better in person than in pictures. What part of Ohio are you in?

No Camaro orders between April 25 and November? Seems like a awful long time with no Camaro orders. Is there a reason for this?

I live in the Dayton area. Two of my local dealers told me they should have them by August at the latest. Don't know if they were just blowing smoke or not. We shall see. They have the Ashen grey SS 1LE I originally wanted on the showroom floor but I'm really wanting to see this 14 before I decide. Ill prolly end up waiting too long as usual.

actually, all the info I've been given from multiple sources is April 19th is the 13 my cutoff date for ordering.
As for your question you've got to realize they need to finish production on the current my then get into the new parts for next year.
Also pricing for 2014 won't be revealed until June or July I believe.

The delay also gives the dealers time to sell off the cars that they have on their lots.

Keep in mind the color changes.....if you really want one of the 2013 discontinued colors, then you better get your car now!
