I have a standard ZL1 tune that sets the limiter to 206 mph. Not sure about the 1LE.

I don't recall anything but the verts having a hard limiter. Also, since you've had your 1le faster than the drag limited top speed, I can imagine it's gonna start getting pretty tough once heat starts setting in. especially after a 200mph pull, that doesn't come quick.

ZLE's top speed is limited around 190 MPH opposed to the ZL1's 200.

Stock for stock, I've not heard of anyone doing much past 180 in a zle.

But I haven't much looked

I think the ZL1 1LE is drag limited to under 200 mph

I did 174 in SS 1LE at Kennedy Space Center (verified at 172.xx). A year later a ZLE did I think 8-10 over that.

My video is somewhere buried in here... My car hit a aero wall about 160, run was also with road course alignment which did not help. In short, your gonna need lot of power to go over 200...

Yes there is, limiter at 206 and resume at 204. That is a file from a 2018 ZL1/LE. Those are the same settings as a 2017 ZL1 file that I've checked. Screenshot will be below the text.

Agree with the others that drag is very high on this model. You must have a lot of extra power to go that fast. The test that Timbo-1LE was talking about was a 2.7 mile run where the ZLE reached 178 mph. Watching that video, it's apparent to me that drag is very high on this model, because of the way a 650 hp car is struggling so much at higher speed. My perspective on that opinion is from making a bunch of runs at 170+ in just 1.0 mile with my Camaro SS partial-bolt-on car, which has a good bit less hp than a ZL1.

Do you plan on going over 200 mph in your ZLE? You would probably need a full roll cage and racing belts/harnesses.

Tires will a limiting factor. They have to be designed to go 200 mph and dont last long at that speed. You should research this. There are few threads on here about this.

True, but at 200 mph he'll run out of gas sooner than (Y rated) tires
