Looking to get an x pipe for my n/a build what diameter is better for performance? 2.5 vs 3inch

Depends on what all your going to be adding, if your gonna cam and the usual items, definitely go with 3" all the way!

depends on your goals, usage of your car, money, etc. Article pretty much sums it up. if you are operating primarily in lower rpm range, generally, 2.5" is better but then it also depends on the upgrades and horsepower level of your motor. if you want more noise...3" financially, 2.5" cheaper.
