Help me decide...
2010 ss m6 with simple bolt ons. Long tubes, udp, cai, ngk it's, 160 thermostat and a tune which next week will be a dyno tune.
A co-worker has a a 2012 super bee with 405 rwhp and another has a 2012 5.0 no mods no tune. We've agreed to a drag race at the local strip. I have no traction on the street, and I'm going to make a pass a couple days before we race to see how it does on the strip but what should I do first? 1. Buy 2 more rims and put nitto 555r 2. Install 2step. 3. Go for more power (cam, heads) I can only go one route for now obviously cam and heads being the most expensive but if I do any internal work I will also have to change the rings and valve seals. |

For the strip and to save a bunch of money, radials are the way to go, with the radials you should take both of them. Without them..., That 5.0 might give ya some problems but i think you got it.

All you need is drag radials. After I installed my cam and converter I went to the strip with street tires and went again after I got some radials. Just with the radials I dropped 6 tenths in the 1/8, different tracks so different prep but you get the point.

Drag radials are a must. Don't buy anything else until you can hookup. I bought an extra set of rims as well so I can swap them on and off quick.
