Creek noise n brake squeak

For some time know the LF has been making a "creek" noise in low speeds while backing out my drive way or while maneuvering im a parking lot. I personally haven't look under to check it out bc still under warranty. My guess it top strut mount or sway bar link.

Brake squeak while slowing down no matter of conditions hot or cold.

Will be dropping at dealership tomorrow.

The Brembos brakes on this Camaro and my last one always seem to squeal as slow speeds. You can try bedding the brakes, which seems to help but then it seems to return sooner or later. less aggressive pads will also help....

figures. I have the same squeak, and they say that's "normal for high performance brakes".

Take it to the drag strip and/or go through the bedding procedure, it cleared up almost all of my brake noise.

Yeah, the noise will go away but then sooner or later it will be back. Less aggressive brake pads would not make much noise but then what would the point of having high end performance Brembos be with weak brake pads.

Hi R3DLT1,

We’re sorry to hear that you’ve been experiencing these frustrations with your Camaro. We understand your dealer deemed these noises normal, and we do rely heavily on our dealerships for concerns such as these. While we cannot guarantee a different outcome, we would be happy to discuss this further with you. Please send us a private message if you’re interested.

Best,
Lauren E
