Is this the face of 6Gen???
It would make a lot of sense. Capitalize on the popularity of the movie, take another step in the direction of the 2014 aero mods up front, still very much a Camaro.

Without such an ugly lower grill and different headlight assembly, it could be a lot more attractive.

This has been discussed many times. No. Some may like it, I think it sucks, but it doesn't matter because it is not the sixth gen. It's a custom car built for a movie.

Still too big, just a custom current Camaro. And I'm not a fan of it

hard to know but my guess is no. Sides look unchanged on that just custom front end. I would think there will be a more substantial change in the car. Maybe not as radical as the new mustang but more then the Challenger which just got new face and tail but no change in profile. It's always fun to speculate keeps the interest up.

Just like the first transformer movie and the production 5th gen wasn't that far off, which my guess is the same thing here, some differences but they got an inside scoop, and are going to build the same excitement about the 6th gen.

I may be wrong, but I don't think the OP is suggesting they are using an alpha based 6th gen camaro in the movie. I believe what he is asking is if GM will use the newest transformers camaro as inspiration for the basis of the 6th gen refresh. Will they draw from the notoriety of that movie and that character when they finalize a refreshed design direction for the next model.
I don't see it looking exactly like that, but it wouldn't surprise me to see elements of that design in the next iteration of the Camaro. Keep in mind, the 5th gen camaro has been wildly well received for its concept-car-like design, so I would imagine the 6th gen will be more evolutionary than revolutionary, much like the newest mustang.

As I've said before, I believe this is indeed the styling direction we'll see on the 6th gen. As everyone likes to point out, this is NOT a 6th gen as it sits, but rather a facelifted/modified current car, but I think you'll see plenty of styling cues from this car in the next generation Camaro... including the headlight styling, dark lower moldings, even the center placed stripe treatment. I guess we'll know in a year (or 2).

Let me put it this way. After 5 Camaros and 13 continuous years of Camaro ownership, if the 6th gen looks exactly like this car I will sell my 1LE and buy a hot pink 4 cylinder Mustang convertible. That's pretty much the wussiest pony car I can think of. I'm that confident that this fifth gen knock off is not the sixth gen. I don't really see the redeeming value in pretending it is.
