Window Tint

Have a 2013 black LS, getting the windows tinted. Thinking about going 20% all teh way around for like 150$. The place that's doing it will go 15% but it's like 90$ more expensive. Worth the money for 15 or just go with 20

id go 15% for sure. I got 15% all-round and I wish I would have got 5%.

crap, i already dropped it off at the tint place.....went with 20%....

I got 18% and love it. I wish I had 5 though but was concerned about visibility.

This is a daily driver so visibility was a concern.... If it was just a weekend car I probably would have went 5

5% is the way to go, I had 20% on my sides and it was not dark enough.

You won't notice the 5%. You did the right thing. It'd be a total waste of $90

Who gives a crap about the laws, it is a secondary infraction they never pull you over for it anyways. I have had illegal windows for over 10 years and never got a ticket. There are guys I know who have tinted their front windshield and not gotten a ticket. The police have more to worry about than window tint darkness.

first problem is the place!! 90 buck extra for darker, thats a rip off. unless it metalize film which holds up better for years (hence the purple tint look on cheap tint jobs)

I got pulled over at least once a month for my tints on my cavalier, had to take them off. I probably paid over $500 in tickets

Metallic tint is crap, it breaks your car's remote lock/remote start functionality and interferes with cell phones. Most shops around here only carry ceramic. All around much better!
