What's even more impressive is the sustained 1.1G in the corners with no excitement.

Is that the PDR setup for the 2017 camaro? If so that's really cool with the dual views, if not anyone know what system that is?

Corners are banked so that's not so impressive, the acceleration is!

I think they have a camera pointed at the cluster and two others one for cabin and street view. It does not seem like the PDR at all.

Indy has 9 degree banking so yes, there is an effect which you can see on the bubble, .1G downward (normal force) in addition to the 1.1G lateral. The banking allows him to maintain a higher speed at that lateral acceleration. Without banking he would have the same lateral G's but without the vertical G's he wouldn't be able to carry as much speed.

But I also agree, the acceleration is impressive as well.

Maybe I'm ignorant, but why does that SS only have a speedometer with 160 top?

I believe the main video is the PDR and that it may have multiple overlays you can choose from when you replay the recorded sessions to view the data. Kind of like how there are multiple HUD views you can cycle through. The other smaller view of the driver and passenger seems to be just a editing overlay, but who knows maybe you can hook up a camera wirelessly to the PDR for internal views.

Maybe the forward camera view but not the guages and not the passenger view. I saw the video of the 2017 ZL1 running at milford proving grounds and it was footage throught the PDR. It looked identical to the Caddy PDR system as far as graphics on the performance overlays.

I'm trying to find that video now but no dice. I wonder if chevy removed it for some reason. They used to have it directly linked on the Chevy site with the 2017 ZL1 overview.

Is that a pic of is actual gauge cluster in the bottom right? I thought 2SS have a 200mph speedometer top off?
