Extended Warranty

Warranty Question. One year ago I bought my 2014 2LT RS Convertible. It had 2800 miles on it when I picked it up. It was a certified CHEVY so it came with a one year bumper to bumper warranty. Currently the car has 8000 on it. They gave me a quote of $1000 to extend the coverage for 3 years 36,000 miles through there aftermarket warranty company Ally. Is it worth doing it? Anyone done this and had problems?

Do what you want. Only you can weigh out the risks vs rewards for yourself. For me, I only care about the drivetrain warranty. I can fix anything, but hate wrenching. I'll take the risk and let my warranties expire.
