Radio issue 2013 camaro
Hi everyone,
I have an issue with my 2013 camaro 90k miles. The problem is about hearing a pop sound that comes from speakers. The sound appears and disappears in less than a second. After that, the radio is not working, even when i change the radio channels. I have to turn off the car, then turn it on to have the radio working again. Any help please? |

I am having a similar issue in my 2014. Someone indicated on a previous post from several years ago that there were several 'bad solder joints' in the radio that could be repaired.
Anyone know if there are typical culprits, or do you need to do a careful inspection to find the bad solder joints? |

44 way black connector at the back of the radio
White wire(remote enable) circuit 7066 in position 43 cut this wire about an inch from the connector and try it. looks like its the only all white wire, the other whites have tracers cavity 44 should be red/blk and 42 should be brown or brown/wht. |

Get a Corsa Extreme exhaust system. Problem solved.

I had this issue 2 years ago and ended up replacing the radio with another one I bought off ebay( I think the new one came from a chevy cruze). I just had this one start to go bad, not sure if my car has an underlying issue or just bad luck with radios. If you search it on YouTube you will find videos on how to remove and replace the radio. Not a hard job, but difficult to pull the radio face.
