Dyno tuning and bolt on’s
Looking for somewhere to get mods done like headers exhaust cold air intake basically bolt on stuff and have it tuned? I live in Wisconsin about 40 miles away from Madison any help would be appreciated.

If you can turn a wrench, you can do the bolt ons yourself.

I’d like to do the bolt ons myself. After doing them is it safe to drive without getting it tuned I just don’t want to wreck anything or cause any issues.

It is definitely necessary to get a tune if your bolt-ons include throttle body or longtube headers. You can purchase an HPtuners MPVI3 and have any shop you want remote tune it.

Thanks for the help. After the install of bolt ons it will still be safe to drive before I get the tune done right just won’t be at it’s full potential till tuned correct?

That is up for debate. I trailer’s my car to the tuner after installing all the bolt-ons. I later changed my intake manifold and throttle body and drove it to the tuner about 30 minutes away and it was fine.

You may want to look up Nickey with the backwards "K" Their in Rockford Il. about 50+ mile from you. With turkey day coming I'm not sure about their hours.
