Camaro and LA Roads.

Question to fellow LA residents.
I was just curious if these roads damage our cars? I try to maneuver around big potholes and cracks, but some streets (a lot of them) are just terrible to drive on.

over time it will fatigue the chassis, wear out the shocks and bushings and the springs will sag a little.

but... what are you gonna do? turn your car into a garage queen?

Just drive it!

How many miles do you think (roughly) will it last without fatiguing the chassis and wearing out shocks etc?

it will probrably last 150-200k miles if you take care of it. for a daily driver your shocks will probrably be ready to be replaced around 60-80k miles depending on how you drive it. if your asking how long it will handle like it does now, it will start probably start to show deterioration in ride quality around 50-60k miles if you take it easy on the pot holes. a big pot hole can actually blow out a shock if you hit it hard enough.

These numbers are good enough for me. Thanks.

Sometimes I wish I had 19's on mine it would help a little with the bumps. If I do trade in I will get an SS without the RS package and the 19's..

I can't help but at these questions. What kind of car do you think this is?

What car maker would produce a car so sensitive that it will fall apart if you don't live in an area that has pristine roads? Treat it like any other car...don't hit potholes...in any car...
