Will the Halos Stay???
I wonder if the Halos will stay. When we saw those LEDs coming through that heavy padding I thought they may do away with the Halos. But with the padding off we didn't see any LEDs.. Now that Dodge is jumping on the Halo band wagon.. Wonder if Chevrolet will do something different. I applaud Ford for doing something different with Mustang's LEDs...

Pretty much all vehicles on the road today have LEDs....and almost none are circular. BMW (dual halo), then Camaro, and now Dodge. Thats pretty much it. Its not like someone at Ford actually said "everyone has Halos...we will be different!! Yay!". If Chevy keeps the halos on the Camaro, I think that would be great and fine by me. If not....then I'm fine with that too, as long as the headlight design and LEDs they DO use look good.

The Z/28 doesn't have them as part of the weight loss program. They used the standard, and lighter, headlights and removed the wiring for the halos/HIDs from the harnesses.

Weight and I think the halos and HIDs draw more power off the battery or something like that.. One of these smart guys on here can explain it better.. Lol

Mostly just due to weight and added components(HID ballasts)... HID lights consume less power than conventional halogens

Camaro wasn't the first at anything dealing with the Halo. You've been misinformed.

Don't know about the Halos but I'm sure some form of LEDs will be available.
