Why not just go for the ZL-1?

Cant afford it right at this point in my life. A 65k car is a little different then a 33k car. Or do i just go with the 2SS?

i would just get the SS. a supercharged 6 cylinder is going to make about the same power as a LS3 SS. and you wont have to worry about the reliability.

Get a SS. You can find a decently used 2SS/RS for that 33k or less.

How to hug your camaro
Buy the car that you would most like to get beat in. The other guy will always be faster.

IPF has a good supercharger kit. And IPS has a twin turbo kit.

There is nothing wrong with a forced induction V6. The LFX does very well with forced induction, and will likely be as quick or a bit faster than a stock SS (especially a turbo V6...they are usually considerably faster than a stock SS).

But that said, I would only do it if a forced induction V6 is what you really want. if you want something special, something unique, then by all means go for it! I'd pay a lot more attention to a FI V6 than I would a nearly stock SS.

But if all you care about is the power and don't care how you get it (and you want a warranty!) , and especially if you'd prefer a V8...just get an SS. Your spending 33K on a loaded V6, and you'll spend another 6 - 7 thousand on a supercharger kit.

You could have a 2SS for less than that total cost, or find a nice used SS for the same price as that 2LT.

Now I love my V6, and I love modding it, but is that what you want?

I like Whipple. My buddy at the shop I work for has one on his Raptor, and if it is the same type of quality, then that's probably what I would go with. If you're interested, I can see if I can get you a hook-up

Whipple does not have a kit for the V6.
