And you could tell what model car or even what year was in front of you at a distance at night, or even what was behind you at night based on how many lights and spacing they had.

Back in those days we had fun a few times knowing when an officer was coming at you at night because we could recognize the headlights and markers lights. They didn't have moving radar so we could accelerate and blast by them going the opposite direction know they weren't going to turn around. Too fast to be recognized by them and they knew by the time they turned around and got up to speed you'd be long gone. Back in those days there were only a few officers on duty in the whole county at night, unlike the saturation there is today.

Anyway, it's hard to tell most cars from others these days, I hope the Camaro stays uniquely identifyable as it is and always has been.
