That's what I said about the ZL1.
I agree. Lt1 with CNC ported heads, higher compression, no AFM and hotter cam would be sweet.

Chevy's brand image is refined chassis, balance car so I don't see dominating 1/4 mile drag racing as their top priority. Question I have is how would they configure the Z/28 to make it a volume seller. Do a performance option like the C7 Z07 to add the serious track goodies?

I think that has more to do with Corvette merging the Z06 and ZR1 into one car.
I would rather the Z/28 go back into hibernation instead of seeing it with a blown small block.
I don't see the need for the Z/28 to be a volume seller.
