Well, since you asked why not ... here are a few reasons:
- roof is too low;
- 'stuck in a bunker' feel of the 5th Gen would get even worse
- doors may not be able to open
- absolutely no suspension travel without having the fenders cut into the tires
- front tires may not be able to turn for the same reason
- mirrors are too small
- trunk and/or 2nd row of seating appears to be non-existent
- tires are far too thin, wheels will be easily damaged by bumps in the road (made even worse with 0 possible suspension travel)
- does not look like there is any curb protection offered by tire sidewall
- with the rear wheels so far back (coupled with a fairly long nose), it will be difficult to get decent weight distribution
- extremely radical departure from other alpha-based cars, would likely requiring substantial re-engineering of the chassis to accommodate
That reminds me, don't ask rhetorical questions on an internet forum ... you never know when someone will answer it honestly.
