Since the Camaro version of the LFX produces more HP than any other LFX setup that GM has. Neither is "based" on the other. They are two totally different cars and they are currently on two different chassis. When the 6 Gen Camaro is released it will be on the Alpha platform that is currently under the ATS and they will share some similar hardware but that is about where it ends.
