The manual says just dont hold the same RPMs and gear for a long time. So its basically just changing the gears every now and then. Since you will have an 8 Speed it would be good for it to work all the gears as your driving back.

As for the engine, the prescribed break in is dont hold it at the same RPM for too long for the first 100 miles, no full throttle or redline till about 500-1000 miles.

In my opinion, just me, I don't think it really matters. Just drive it like you will on a daily basis. Let the engine, tranny, and rear diff warm up before you drive it hard, don't abuse it in the early miles(or not at all lol) and you will be fine.
