Amazing how many people just react to pictures and don't/can't/won't read. It's a work-in-progress as should have been evident by what I wrote. People say they like/want retro/vintage, then complain because it looks retro/vintage. Whatever.

For the uneducated and unwashed here are a few pix and the reason as to why I was thinking this might work better as a Mustang.

Original P-51D; note the canopy style and compare that to the side view.

As for the side profile not having a long front and short back, look at the original Mustang; mine actually has a shorter back so this is not that proportionally different.

And for those complaining that the sides are too flat, that was part of the original Mustang style:

I'm still shaping and refining things.

If you're going to comment, please read, think and act rather than just look and react. It's like someone house shopping and walking into a room and saying "I don't like the color", versus someone walking in and saying "It needs paint." It's the difference between just complaining, as opposed to seeing what can be; what it can become. Make your comments constructive otherwise they're utterly useless to the creative process.

(Thank you 45thCamaro and 45thAnniversary2SS for taking the time to read my original post and responding accordingly!)
