I suspect that GM's current love affair with 4-bangers will indeed extend to the next Camaro... but I do agree with those here don't see a lot of demand for a 4-cylinder Camaro. Camaro buyers seem pretty happy with V6/V8 options, so why mess with success?

Yeah, I don't get why GM has to be a slave to what the Mustang may or may not do...Camaro has out sold them every year...For all those years why hasn't Ford said "We gotta do what Chevy is...just sell v-8s and v-6's"...?
I think Chevy could blow Ford and Mustang out of the water if more perfomance type v-8s and 6's were offered, instead of going to 4's, because, well, that's what Ford is gonna do...
