I don't think gm's worried about the sales numbers. The z/28 is just as much of a marketing tool as it is a revenue stream for them.

Making it affordable to the masses is not on their agenda for this one. I don't see how people think mid 50's or 60's is possible when you've got 20k worth on brakes/rotors on the car.

Gm doesn't care what's fair or reasonable. They no damn well they can sell 2k of these for 80k plus.

Shit if you could pre-order now for 85k, I believe they would already have 2k pre orders!
