My A/C belt was walking/creeping up on the crank pulley as well. But it was doing it toward the back of the pulley. It even totally came off one time. I got a new gates belt and it held perfect. But putting on a new belt every so many miles is not the solution. It is an alignment issue.

These belts are used on a lot of cars, so I don't think it is a design flaw, but a tooling/quality control issue at the factory when the install all the accessories and brackets on the engine. Sometimes things get out of spec. and when that happens, all the close clearance/tolerances are affected.

While the brackets, AC and such have no visible adjustments, I would find out the recommended factory torque specs are and go thru and make sure every things is set right. Of course if it's under warranty, the service department should know and do all this for you. New belt included.
