While I would probably gain some bragging rights in an SS, I could not see it as practical for me. I'm not a racer or a track person, I'm a teacher. I have a 20 minute commute each way. I simply don't need 455hp ( especially, all the state police out on our interstate when on my daily return). I got the V6 50th Anniversary which is pretty much (I mean no offense, it is not exactly the same) an SS with standard features and some options and for less money. So, I'll l just get the looks without all the power. GM was obviously thinking about various demographics and that is why they offer a 4,6 and 8 cylinder. If I was in a different situation, I would have thought about the 8 cylinder. One SS features I wish I could have ordered is the rear spoiler. I do like it better than the lip spoiler but all in all I'm very happy about my choice. This is going to be my first "sports car". My trade is a 2011 Maxima which was a great car but it was not a "4DR Sports Car", Nissan.
