Yeah I really think the lower ratio would make a big difference in how the car feels on the road. With the new V6 chassis a big 300 lbs lighter, the overall affect could get the 0-60 down to the low 5 sec range. The handling/braking advantage of the lighter weight fits well with the new 'athletic' approach to styling.
