If the 5.0 is a high-winding engine, so is the LS3. The 5.0's redline just 150 RPM higher than the LS3, and it makes its peak torque at a LOWER RPM than the LS3.

yes... but engine to engine all the numbers are lower for the 5.0 than the LS3.... I'm not talking about which car is faster
Put an LS3 in the new mustang and it's be a rocket! haha not that it isn't already
