Dunno about more "racer-friendly", as you describe it......definitely need to look towards existing equipment...or variants of those parts. Not brand new things...
But I don't think there's a doubt in anyones mind that the car will be entirely developed to shock and awe in all sorts of racing events...consider:
The same people that have built the SS, 1LE, ZL1, and Z/28 are working on this car.....AND....look at what they've done recently: COPO Camaro, Stingray, Z/28, ZL1, Z06....
...I can't wait to see what they have up their sleeves in the new car!
