I can't honestly recall the last time K&N was the leader in anything. They aren't bad, don't get me wrong but, they just cater to a different crowd. It's like getting some old school flowmasters on your car. Sure, it'll sound great but, they won't flow worth a damn. The newer ones are a different story, however.
