I both agree and HATE that its true about mods not adding value. They sure do in my book, but not in the bank's book. They do add liability to insurance policies though unfortunately. If you disclose mods like this to your insurance, they will kill you with a premium hike. If you dont, you wont get any of that money back if the car gets totaled no matter how many receipts you have.

But for a car like this, it needs a cash or 50% down buyer. One with perfect credit and cash to burn. Or you can sell it at a small premium over market value and that should be fair. But at this point I'd say $75k is about all you'll get.

I would be comfortable at $70k purchase but nothing more.
