This is a great idea. Because if it are going to pull it out every night, you'll cause wear on the OBD connector. So you buy an ext cord and plug into that. Some have toggled the power wire in the ext cord on Camaro5.
You can go 3-4 days on a Range before you dip into low batt readings (<12.0)
However befor you run out to get a Range, I think the AFM in 2016 v6 and v8 in the camaro are totally acceptable, vs the C5 V8 which was atrocious.
Also , Adam @Range says the system needs to see the range on startup, vs turning it on after the engine fires.
