I have no doubt that the overall theme of the 6th Gen will be an evolution of the 5th Gen which was a modern retro inspired version of the 1st Gen. That said the change from modified Zeta to Alpha alone should make the car look different not to mention if GM does any tightening of the cars dimensions to save weight. I don't think anyone with basic car knowledge will confuse a 5th or 6th Gen Camaro.
