The Traction Control and ABS codes may well have been related to the new tires, even though the new tires are the same size as the OEM tires. However, since the codes came up within 15 minutes of leaving the tire shop, it's hard to believe that it's a coincidence.

The persistent vibration/resonance in the rear deck is still there. It was always less obvious in cooler weather, and I picked it up on a cool, rainy day and it didn't immediately start doing it.

I had hope because they had actually called me a day earlier and told me that the Tech HAD been able to observe the problem and had stayed late to fix it. Their "Fix" involved a firmware upgrade to the Bose amplifier's noise cancelling system. They claimed that the resonance was the result of mis-calibrated noise cancelling. It was a plausible enough explanation to keep me from calling bullshit over the phone when he explained to me.

Minor victory: The firmware upgrade to the amplifier DOES seem to have improved the overall sound quality of the system, even if it hasn't fixed my rear deck issue.
Well at least both items are fixed. Like you said, it had to be due to the tires for whatever reason.
