Yep, even my 1996 LT4 Corvette has passive lock/unlock.

No need to ever take FOB out of pocket.
Just push the little button on the door, as your reaching to open the door anyway. One push on either door will unlock both of them.

I like the way the Camaro works.

Bonus:
The trunk button will also open the trunk as long as your FOB is in range if the car is locked.
If your car is not locked, that trunk button will always work FOB or not.
