All that is proprietary...but in general, I know there are heating and cooling tests, lubrication, ambient temperature, longevity, G-forces/scavenging, and abuse tests...they put these things through the ringer to make sure that it outlives the warranty they provide, and can withstand an abusive customer.

I know specifically, the LSA in the ZL1 underwent over 260 hours of continuous WOT testing on a dyno, and a 24-hour track test twice...over 600 clutch-dumps at redline, I think that's the number...all without failure.

Hmm still interesting, I wonder how that compares to other companies? They have all these companies claiming to be longer lasting and better than others but you don't always hear about their testing methods and failure rates.
