They are going to diagnose the groan when I take it in - I wanted to get everything done at once but they won’t replace the bolts until they fail.

I shouldn’t have to come out of pocket for new bolts. Chevy doesn’t view it as a safety issue so it gets a tsb instead of a recall. What happens when they come apart at speed? Anyone had that occur yet? Had something similar happen on a sxs once and it locked the wheel up (was a cv joint failure though).

I’m sure Chevy thought the ignition switches wasn’t an issue either - until it was.

Now they are saying it doesn’t affect my vehicle - anyone know if the 2016 verts have the new bolts? Do we pull them out and measure them to confirm that the correct bolts are installed?
