VHT Brake Caliper Paint is magical. We put a lightly used set of CTS-V brakes on the 2014 SS 1LE. They were already red...but both - over the winter - broke seals around the pistons and seized one of the bleeders, so I opted to replace the whole deal rather than go through the trouble and cost of rebuilding in the middle of winter. The new CTS-V calipers were silver.
In the spring - we removed the new calipers, cleaned, prepped, painted, and baked them - and used eBay stickers to match the OE design in the rear...These brakes have seen two track days since, and have not discolored in the least!!
I was super hesitant about discoloration, and longevity - I'm so impressed!
