No, the SS badge has also been put on the Cobalt, Silverado, Monte Carlo, Impala, etc., and was first put on a Corvette. The Z28 badge was only put on a Camaro so your statement that said "The Z28 badge is just something they slapped on any V8 car" is wrong. Saying "any car" would imply cars other than a Camaro.
