Mine is sitting on jack stands since Monday, had to take rims for powder coating. I have the red bolt on installed for jacking it up. I have put the car on jackstand in past without the bolt on but saw slight bend in the pinch weld.

I think the real benefit of these bolt ons will be when you take the car to dealer, these hang just below the level of side trim so no chance of someone screwing up the car during lift.
