What a great legacy, having it so long then giving it to your son. And only ~ 77,000 miles!
I purchased a used 1969 black 4 speed Camaro with the same green vinyl interior in 1975. I blew the engine then built a real strong 355 CI and put it in it. Used to run 10.5" slicks on the street. I tore the rear end off the spring perch pad on one side once, had to disassemble and re-weld/strenghten em. Nothing like running into a patch of rain on slicks
I 360'd it a couple times.
