The Wankel is a very clever piece of dung.
Not all ideas are feasible.
Emissions issues, poor fuel economy, oil consumption, and short Time Between Overhaul all conspired to keep the rotary as an odd curiosity.
Did you know Suzuki made a Wankel motorcycle back in the old days?
It should come to no surprise that the last Wankel for automotive use was made in 2012. In Hiroshima, Japan, of course!
