I was told that the front and rear bars are the same diameter, so they wouldn't have been mixed up. They also told me that they are a bit of a PITA to get both nuts started. Need to apply a lot of pressure from the top to get the second nut started.
So I measured the ID of the bushings and they are 1 1/4"(32mm), but I noticed what I think is a slight defect from the mold with some extra material on the inner surface, probably not enough to make that much difference. Once I clean that up, I'll see if it helps.
