Replace the belt because it's cheap to do. It might fix the problem. Next would be the tensioner. Still relatively cheap.
However, a chirp as opposed to a squeal is probably an alignment problem. Two ways to check and confirm it:
1. Get a spray bottle and wet the belt with water while the engine is running. If the chirp goes away, it's an alignment problem.
2. Put the belt on upside down. If the chirp goes away, it's an alignment problem. The minimal difference in the grooves when the belt is reversed corrects for the misalignment.
