When I tracked motorcycles I preferred immediate lever feel, similar to what you're describing. However, in the car, I actually prefer OEM. I like that the initial bite is less potent as it helps stop me from overbraking and i can trail it to the apex without locking things up.
At my pace (FukkenFast), I honestly don't see Girodisc cutting any more time from my laps. In fact, I should probably be braking less.
Obviously, you're very knowledgable and I respect the hell out of you. However, I just can't wrap my head around anyone wanting to change out the OEM ZL1-1LE brakes (aside from the fluid) unless they're racing at Pro level for hour-long races.

Totally fair and your perspective is great. My perspective is having a car I can take anywhere and have it perform to the level I want, regardless of the track. Having driven stock ZLEs at pace, the stock pads simply don't cut it at hard braking tracks. EX - At Nelson Ledges, the brakes are barely used and stock pads would probably be fine, at The Ridge or say PITT, there is a lot of brake used and stock pads would not perform as well. I, as a driver, want to be able to adjust my braking to any track in any conditions and the Giro setup is just that much better for me with its enhanced feel and power.
