What it's worth is a very subjective question... to whom?
Wholesale auction prices are usually a shock to most people who haven't seen what cars go for compared to what they go on sale for.

Private sale will yield the most money with the most headaches.
Dealer trade in will yield the least money with the least headaches.

A rough idea of what I do is search a 100-200 mile radius for cars +1 / -1 year and similar mileage and then subtract ~5-10% for profit margin, depending on the popularity of the car.

Last 3 cars I've sold (Audi A7, Infiniti M37x, Porsche 911S) I've gotten within $1-3k of what I was asking for because I did my research.
