Everyone buys their car in part for personal and emotional reasons which need not make sense or logic so long as the buyer is happy with their choice.
The Mustang is a great car. Not unlike past generations, the latest gen is a little more pedestrian, and it seems to appeal to a wider range of buyers than the Camaro for that reason. I prefer the Camaro, myself.
