I would not throw an aftermarket tune on this guy until after my warranty was already expired, but I wonder how much more (safe?) power can be made on a 91 tune? I thought one company was claiming around 350+hp and nearly 500tq, so hot dang. That may have been a 93 tune. I'd be happy with just a modest bump lol. Say 330 HP and 450 tq.  (stock power levels are already pretty great) |
From what GM has said, the latter two power figures have the same hardware, and a truck that comes with the 390tq can get an OEM flash to 430tq.
The 237hp 259tq version has a smaller turbo. (I assume)
