I wouldn’t say the LT6 makes the LS7 irrelevant. I doubt you’ll be able to buy a crate LT6 and make it fit in a lot of applications like the LS7 can fit. Also the LT6 is going to be a MINIMUM of 20k for a crate engine if GM even lets us buy one. The LS7 was 12k. While not cheap it’s significantly cheaper than the LT6 will be. Also I’m basing my price prediction of the LT6 based on what a used crate voodoo cost which is roughly 20k.the LT6 is a far more impressive engine so I’m sure it will probably cost more.
