I wish people would dyno these: a) after 20 mins of road driving for the computer to "learn" the new box, and b) with the hood down since that is how the car actually operates.
If it's only an hour or so later, even with a 20 min drive, the conditions should still be pretty similar but at least we would know if the computer "relearns" and compensates backwards even with the additional airflow (as is rumored).
Also, with the hood up the air filter is free to pull air from the less restrictive surrounding open atmosphere. With the hood down it has to pull from a more restrictive intake tract.
