Wondering - some shops selling new key fobs seem to differentiate between fobs for 2016 and 2017 models (e.g. replacemyremote.com) ... is there really a difference between the remotes for those two...

No, there are no options (to speak of) because the only SS model that is available is the 2SS w/ MR/NPP (at least for the 50th - regular SS the MR/NPP is optional, but 2SS none the less)

Just about the only "option" you can order in Germany (apart from selecting either AT/MT - went for MT) is the sun roof, apart from that there's only the top end option ... so, essentially 50th 2SS...

They're not building them in Germany for sure, rather for Germany ... in contrast to the US, where (from what I know) you usually just pick one that's available on the showroom floor, and very rarely...

I reckon they wanted to show off what a car at about 3/4 of the price tag would do to two of the main contenders of luxury cars, which also stand for high performance ... ;)
