AC cutout during highway travel on hot day

driving 2017 V-6 at 90MPH in 96 deg heat for 1/2 and AC stopped working.
after i stopped and car cooled down the AC working fine. :bonk:
anybody experienced this issue???????

you cannot acquire a full experience of a sports car unless it is a manual.
